چکیده

Introduction Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) significantly impacts the bovine industries, both dairy and beef sectors. BVDV can infect various domestic wild animals, most notably cattle. The dynamic variations among serotypes due to continuous genetic diversity, especially in BVDV1 (BVDV1), reduce effectiveness of currently available vaccines specificity/sensitivity diagnostic assays. development novel, safe, effective against requires deep knowledge antigenicity virulence virus. Previous studies on have been mainly focused one or a few proteins. While however, little is known about orchestration all context immunogenicity. main aim current study was do comparative computational evaluation immunogenicity, for encoded proteins BVDV2 their sub-genotypes. Methods To achieve this goal, 11,737 protein sequences were retrieved from Virus Pathogen Resource. analysis involved total 4,583 after removal short those with unknown collection time. We used MP3 tool map pathogenic across different strains. potential protective epitope motifs predicted using VaxiJen EMBOSS antigen tools, respectively. Results discussion prediction revealed that NS4B likely essential roles virulence. Similarly, capsid (C) NS4-A N pro P7 are important virulent factors. There clear trend increasing progression time case proteins, but not Most two possess antigens immunogens except , P7, NS4B. However, higher than BVDV2. Meanwhile, immunogenicity immunodominant-E2 has decreasing over Based our pathogenicity serotypes, sub-genotypes (1a, 1f, 1k, 2a, 2b) may represent ideal candidates future infection In summary, we identified some common differences between genotypes (BVDV1 BVDV2) regarding pathogenicity. data presented here will increase understanding molecular pathogenesis It also pave way developing novel assays near future.

Persistent bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) infection in cattle herds

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) is a significant pathogen associated with gastrointestinal, respiratory, and reproductive diseases of cattle worldwide. It causes continuous economic losses to the cattle industry primarily due to decreased reproductive performance. The ability of virus to cross the placenta during early pregnancy can result in the birth of persistently infected (PI) calves. P...

The effect of bovine viral diarrhea virus on bovine monocyte phenotype

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) is an economically important pathogen of the livestock industry worldwide. BVDV is classified into cytopathic (cp) and noncytopathic (ncp), depending on its effects on cultured cells. BVDV is known to alter the host’s immune response. Of this, major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules play a central role in the development and function of the i...

Detection of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus in Bovine Semen Using Nested-PCR

A rapid and sensitive reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and nested-PCR were used to detect bovine viral diarrhea virus 1 (BVDV-1) in bull semen. Selected primers could amplify a part of the 5´UTR of the BVDV genome. A 294 bp DNA fragment was amplified and specificity of the results was confirmed by direct sequencing of the PCR product. Prior to RNA extraction, the seminal...

Production of monoclonal antibody against recombinant NS3 protein of bovine viral diarrhea virus (NADL strain)

Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus (BVDV) is an important viral pathogen of cattle causing several clinical syndromes. There are usually no pathognomonic clinical signs of BVDV infection. Diagnostic investigations therefore rely on serological detection and virus isolation. Nonstructural protein 3 (NS3) as immunogenic protein of BVDV is genetically and antigenically conserved among different isolates....

Diagnosis of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus:

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) is one of the most important viral pathogens of cattle worldwide. Because of the insidious and complex nature of BVDV, laboratory diagnosis is critical in preventing and controlling BVDV infections. These same characteristics often make laboratory diagnosis challenging. A firm understanding of the disease is required to select the appropriate diagnostic strate...
